You might now Monique’s work since she designed a lot of celebrities houses, from Elton John to Jon Bon Jovi to Meg Ryan. And she has become so close with Bon Jovi, after designing six homes, that she spends Thanksgivings with him and his family.
Her home is simultaneous her living and her workspace, and her home works as a sunny laboratory for ideas, which she sometimes uses as a study for her client’s projects.

An airy open kitchen decorated in darker tones that opens up into the designer’s garden, which she treasures a lot! Having been born in the countryside Gibson appreciates every little piece of nature she can have.
The designer describes her home as a “living canvas”, with things coming and going very quickly. However, there are many items in the house the designer has held on to through the years, such as a pair of paintings, given to her by Elton John and that slide open to reveal a TV.
Gibson defines her style mostly as an answer to the need we all have of feeling comfortable in a home, whether it’s ours or not.
