Kelly Wearstler’s first retail project is here and we couldn’t love it more! See below images of the stunning candy store.
If you’ve ever been to a chocolate factory or candy store you know how magical they are. They have the power to take everyone back to their childhood and to delight every child. This one, in particular, also charms every interior design lover out there, so we could not wait to share it with you!
Kelly Wearstler, one of the top interior designers of our days, partnered up with Jonathan Graham, the owner of Compartés, and together they created an incredibly chic and preciously designed candy shop in Los Angeles.

The new Westfield Century City Compartés is everything you’ve ever hoped for! From handwritten prices lists, gold ornamentation and a sculptured wall full of geometric shapes, inspired by the late Louis Nevelson, this shop takes you back to the glamorous Art Deco era.
We can’t even express how much we love this store! The counter, in marble and golden, is absolutely stunning. And how great are those lamps?

Three marble and antiqued-brass bays hold over 1 500 chocolate bars. The marble from the shelves runs right into the floor, creating wide stripes of marble and wood that extend across the room. But this is just the start of Wearstler’s incredible design.
The shop is filled with the most amazing details! From the elegant hand-plastered green walls, custom arched ceilings to a frozen hot chocolate station, where chocolate pours out of brass faucets, alongside toppings lined up in chic clear canisters. All with golden details.
This shop is a true dream come true, where chocolate and design come together and bring out the best in each other.
We can’t wait for more of Kelly’s retail projects!
