As one of the world’s most prestigious design events and also the leading event in Asia, it has set a unique ground for China’s ever-growing design scene. The event showcases the best design brands from all over the world and provides a networking platform between these brands and top architects, interior designers, developers, retailers, and private buyers.
Happening in the Shanghai Exhibition Centre from the 6th to the 9th of March, Design Shanghai 2019 is the sixth edition of the even and will be showcasing across six design sections, it’s set out to be the biggest event yet!

The event showcases only the best quality designs by some of the world’s best brands, as well as up-and-coming designers from both China and the rest of the world. These will be divided into six categories: Contemporary design, classic & luxury design, collectible design, kitchen & bathroom design, workplace design, and new materials and applications. Some of the brands that will be exhibiting at the evnt are Zaha Hadid Edition, Roche Bobois, and many other top brands.
If you attend the event you’ll have many other things to explore, as Design Shanghai comprises one of the most comprehensive seminar programmes in Asia. This year’s edition will feature 40 international design icons that will share their insights on the future of design.
As it happens with any other design events, Design Shanghai will include installations, stand-out projects, galleries, and the most exclusive networking events in order to create the most unique design experiences for the participants and visitors.
