Decorex 2019 – The Highlights
Decorex 2019 is ending today but has left us with great moments to remember! Let’s find out all the highlights from this highly-anticipated interior design show!
Held at Olympia London, Decorex is a world-renowned interior design show and event where brands get to showcase their high-end products. This year the event happened from the 6th to the 9th of October and there are plenty of news from the event!
LUXXU had the pleasure to be at Decorex with partner brand Covet House. We hope you had the chance to visit the modern classic loft concept Covet House presented at this year’s edition of the show. If not keep reading to find everything about it!
Covet House
Our first highlight is Covet House‘s stand! As you entered Covet House’s curated stand you’d see different types of rooms, this living room is one of them. Decorated using only high-end luxury brands the living room features LUXXU’s Crackle Mirror, a brass mirror made for the finest interiors!
Moving on from the living room you’ll find the dining room. Decorated mostly with LUXXU’s furniture and lighting this ambiance was created to be a small dining room where style and luxury are not compromised!
Design Encounter
At the Decorex Design Encounter space, visitors were taken along a series of connected rooms created by six designers. Developed in collaboration with John Allsopp Studio, Central Saint Martins and Catalyst VR, the rooms bring interiors to life using storytelling and AR (Augmented Reality). Guests only needed to download the free Decorex Design Encounter app on the App Store or Play Store, and by placing their device’s cameras in front of items that interest them, they were able to learn more about the items and their designer.
Seminars
Decorex 2019 had a great seminar program and we couldn’t leave it out of the highlights! The talks and conferences were focused obviously on the complex world of interior design, including themes such as trends forecast, how to grow an interior design business, superyacht design trends an many other interesting topics.
