Find the most luxurious Hotel Suites in Tokyo
When you visit a city like Tokyo, you arrive knowing that the trade-off for the impeccable service, immaculate streets, and fascinating culture is that everything feels downsized—from the showers to the food to the accommodations. And while there’s certainly something to be said about going small, there’s also something incredibly pampering about going big in Tokyo. Here, we found out how some of the city’s best hotels created the most luxurious—and spacious—suites in the Japanese capital. Find the most beautiful and luxurious Hotel Suites in Tokyo!
Aman Suite at Aman Tokyo
Guests of Aman Resorts, the boutique line of hotels with 30 locations across the world, speak of the experience with the hushed tones reserved for a private club. The Tokyo outpost offers a 1,700-square-foot Aman suite that is practically an apartment, complete with bedroom, living room, dining area, and pantry. Designed by Kerry Hill Architects, the suite has a minimal and modernist aesthetic, replete with camphor wood and gray fabrics that calm (rather than bombard) the senses.
Peninsula Suite at The Peninsula Tokyo
On the 23rd floor of the Peninsula Hotel is the extravagant Peninsula Suite—3,730 square feet that make other hotel suites look modest. There’s the private balcony with views of the Imperial Palace gardens, a dining room that accommodates a dozen people, a separate dressing room, even a grand piano. For those who are weary from the lack of space in the crowded metropolis, the Peninsula Suite represents the ultimate oasis.
The Chairman’s Suite at Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi
The Chairman’s Suite at the Four Seasons Tokyo at Marunouchi (situated in the city’s financial district) is a 1,700-square-foot space with a king bedroom, dining area for ten, and a master bathroom with full (egg-shaped) bathtub. Compared with other options available in Tokyo, it’s on the modest side, but for its location right near Tokyo Station, business travelers may find it the most convenient.
Ritz-Carlton Suite at Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo
The famed Ritz-Carlton Suite (on the 53rd floor of the hotel) may just be the most luxurious suite in Tokyo. With a walk-in closet, a marble bathroom with double sinks and a rainforest shower, and views of the Imperial Palace Gardens and Mount Fuji, the 3,300-square-foot stunner has been cited as among the most expensive suites in the world.
Presidential Suite at Park Hyatt Tokyo
Among the most famous of hotels in Tokyo (thank you, Lost in Translation), the Park Hyatt boasts a Presidential Suite with two king beds, a marble bath with rain shower, and a library for some light reading during your stay. The décor—lots of warm woods and ficus trees—aren’t the most contemporary, but for classic appeal there’s no better spot.
