Take a look at the most expensive suite at the Time New York Hotel
Located just a few blocks from the hubbub of Times Square, the Time New York Hotel recently revealed a multimillion-dollar redesign courtesy of the acclaimed Rockwell Group. Inspired by modern art and the concept of time, the property is part of a crop of recently renovated hotels sporting midcentury-modern design. Today we show you this stunning suite!
According to Greg Keffer, Rockwell Group principal and studio leader, the team drew upon the period’s penchant for a dramatic color palette, notably in the LeGrande lounge, where dark, moody hues set the scene for after-work drinks or late-night cocktails.
The bright, airy lobby is done up in shades of beige and black with accents of green and white, while the restaurant Serafina received a dramatic new design featuring orange banquettes and canary-yellow chairs.
Charcoal-gray walls contrast with crisp white linens in many of the hotel’s 193 serene rooms. The room to request is the 2,000-square-foot penthouse suite, which sprawls out over three floors and has a 500-square-foot private terrace.
The hotel’s largest and most expensive accommodation, it includes a living/dining area featuring a glass dining table, a gourmet minibar, and a kitchenette; one bedroom with a king-size bed on the second floor; and a third-floor sitting room. Siberian oak flooring anchors the space, punctuated by rugs inspired by watercolor paintings.
