Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee => After 70 years of reign, Her Majesty The Queen will become the first British monarch to be honoured with a Platinum Jubilee in 2022. Communities and people across the United Kingdom will be able to come together to commemorate the momentous occasion over a special extended bank holiday weekend.
Participate in the celebration of Her Majesty’s historic reign in the run-up to the Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend, which will take place from June 2 to 5.

Trooping the Colour (Queen’s Birthday Parade)
The Queen’s Birthday Parade will begin at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2022. The traditional Parade will bring together around 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians to commemorate The Queen’s formal birthday. The Parade will begin at Buckingham Palace and proceed down The Mall to Horse Guard’s Parade, with members of the Royal Family riding horses and carriages. The Parade will conclude with the usual RAF fly-past, which will be seen from the Buckingham Palace balcony by The Queen and other members of the Royal Family.

Platinum Jubilee Beacons
The United Kingdom’s historical practice of lighting beacons to commemorate Royal Jubilees, Weddings, and Coronations will be continued during the Platinum Jubilee. Throughout the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, and UK Overseas Territories, over 1,500 beacons will be illuminated.
At 9 p.m., the Principal beacon, which includes The Tree of Trees (a 21-meter-high ‘tree’ made up of 350 smaller trees), will be ignited at Buckingham Palace in a special ceremony.

Kirsty Young and Roman Kemp, hosts of the Platinum Party at the Palace, will lead live coverage of the event, which will air on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, and throughout the BBC network. Famous figures from the entertainment industry will appear for a night of musical tributes to commemorate the Jubilee. The event will be attended by 22,000 guests, with 10,000 tickets granted through a public ballot and 5,000 tickets reserved for crucial staff.
