Karim Abdul Muttalib, Founder and CEO of his own interior design firm, K.A. Interior Design in New Cairo, Egypt, has already built his portfolio, working as an interior designer with brands such as Abou Samra Group, but also as an architect with Al-Roukn and Touch Studios.

Showcasing 10 different and deluxe rooms, in a modern classic aesthetic where both architecture and decor blend together in perfect harmony, providing a luxury allure, with golden details appealing and homaging the affluent city. Surrounded by many valleys, palm groves, and green areas, becoming the perfect oasis of beauty and inspiration. Highly developed, this city was the perfect setting for another of Covet House’s brilliant designs.
Entryway
Connected to the dining room, the entrance is the welcoming zone to an open space luxurious experience. Right from the start, the modern classic vibe is present throughout all the elements, where the contemporary artistic decoration clashes with the classical boiserie on the walls. The showstopping Lumiere Round Mirror is sure to make an astonishing first impression of the house.

Living Rooms
The epitome of the modern classic aesthetic in this opulent project, the colossal living room is comprised of a large open space area that combines the kitchen, hall, and dining room. With a very clear design, the living room contrasts the softness and richness of the fabrics, with the harshness of the materials and finishes of the furniture pieces.
Earthy colours and elements compose the pieces in the living room to contrast with the architecture and modern aesthetic of the space. Organic shapes take the fluidity from the upholstery and furniture pieces and exude into the harsh and stick lines of the modern wooden panel, and cold marble floors and walls.
Earth and nature are two very strong components in this marvellous design, which complements the modern classic appeal of the aesthetic giving it a striking vision and a twist on what to expect when taking inspiration from the city itself. The golden details remain the most iconic details throughout the room without being too overpowering or too loud.

High ceilings provide this modern classic dining room on a grandiose scale, leaving room for every masterful piece to breathe.
A very contemporary feel of the decoration, using mostly monochromatic tones on the finishes and the fabrics, leaving the gold to crack over the aesthetic of the room to ultimately become the epitome of luxury to this project.

Using very sober colours throughout the fabrics and textures of the bedroom, leaving jaw-dropping moments for the lighting, details, and other accessories. A room that sets itself a bit apart from the overall aesthetic of the open space bedroom, becoming a much softer, cleaner, and calmer area in terms of aesthetics.
“The master bedroom represents one of the most important spaces in that project. I aspire to create a connection between the classical and the modern designs. I felt very excited and thrilled working on this project.”

An open space deluxe bathroom, granting an even wider sense of the space, the Diamond bathtub takes centre stage. A true statement piece for a statement project. The lighting pieces offer this space a glamorous and rich aesthetic. Quite the spectacular scenery and highly unusual for a bathroom to be in such an exposed area, but such luxury cannot and should not be contained.

Every single detail, from the marble surfaces to the lighting pieces or the decoration, was carefully thought to provide this open space bathroom with the ultimate luxury experience. Almost ethereal, resembling a walk at night through a mystic river, the inspiration for this room was clear: the moonlight.
