Natural elegance took center stage at Chanel’s fashion show during the last Paris Fashion Week. The luxury fashion brand is known for their huge catwalk productions as much as it is known for its suits and quilted handbags.

However, this time, Chanel transformed the Grand Palais into an intimate garden with a fountain as the centerpiece. A quick reminder that it has been previously transformed into an airport terminal and a Chanel-branded supermarket.

Karl Lagerfeld aimed to make the clothes the star of the show, instead of the surrounding act! As a result, opulent haute couture designs, which mirrored the botanical theme in both freshness and natural elegance, were in the spotlight of the show!

As is customary, the fashion house‘s signature suits were the first on the catwalk, but this time there was a reinterpretation of the famous cut.

And then came the gowns! Lagerfeld’s picks for the next season include rose, satin, tulip-shaped skirts, embellished organza, florals and sparkly crystals. Lighter colors, veils, and boots were also seen throughout the show!
