Claridge’s Burberry Tree: design trends at Christmas 2015
Claridge’s hotel unveiled its Christmas tree, designed by Burberry’s chief creative officer Christopher Bailey. The modern design Christmas Tree shows off the design trends of this holiday season, in a metallic contemporary way.
This year, Burberry surprised us all with a contemporary design Christmas tree. Made with more than 100 umbrellas – each one finished in gold and silver metallic fabric – the modern design tree counts with 77,000 lights. The luxurious design is now at Claridge’s, an iconic art deco luxury hotel in London. Dating back to 1856, the hotel reflects the true world of design with magnificent contemporary interiors.
The lighting design of this year’s Christmas tree is absolutely stunning, creating a perfect atmosphere in the hotel design. The metallic umbrellas shine like real Swarovski crystals, presenting a glamorous ambient lighting.

“Christmas is one of my favorite times of year so I was delighted to be asked to design the Claridge’s Christmas Tree – the iconic hotel celebrating a joyful time” said Christopher Bailey.
“We wanted the tree to reflect the playfulness of the season with a little bit of the English weather thrown in. We also love the idea that the tree comes to life as guests pass by, bringing a wonderful touch of festive magic to their stay” declares the Burberry’s chief creative.
This modern representation of Christmas 2015 presents a unique luxury design that we have been used to admire at Claridge’s Hotel. Last year, Dolce & Gabbana was the author of this famous Christmas tree that conquers the attention of everyone around with the latest design trends.
