The Most Expensive Suite at Cabo’s One&Only Palmilla Resort by AD
To some, San Jose del Cabo at the southern tip of Baja California Sur, might be a destination reserved for spring break revelry. But as of late, the location has had a luxurious renaissance of five-star stays catering to a more refined crowd. The latest indicator of Cabo’s new identity comes by way of Villa One, the most expensive suite at the One&Only Palmilla Resort. The Anderson Miller–designed accommodation, which opened earlier this year, offers 14,000 square feet of living space with incredible views of the Sea of Cortez from nearly every room. Let’s take a look at this amazing world of luxury and glamour!
In the great room, 30-foot-wide retractable glass doors open to views of a private infinity-edge pool and lush tropical gardens.
The furnishings within are distinctively modern and crafted from natural materials from Mexico, and the glass doors and walls are carried throughout the entire villa. Adjacent to the great room is an open kitchen, where the suite’s dedicated staff will prepare dinner.
The two master bedrooms (each with a private terrace), two guest rooms, and butler’s suite are all decorated in a soothing palette of beiges, browns, whites, and grays. Light, breezy fabrics and natural wood surfaces define the furnishings. There’s also plenty of outdoor space for spending time under the sun and stars. In addition to the pool, amenities include two dining terraces and countless loungers and daybeds.
Guests can retreat to a lower terrace to gather around a large fire pit for nightly festivities, indulge in a private spa treatment, or, for nights in, watch a film in the suite’s screening room.
