A Beautiful And Exquisite Kitchen Design
This 170-square meter loft, situated on the corner of Place de la République in Paris, was created by the French architectural firm Festen. The Italian company Abimis finished the interior design of the kitchen, creating a fantastic space with vintage New York and industrial design influences.
Overall, it’s a beautiful illustration of a renovation. The interiors exhibit the modern industrial-archeological spirit that has distinguished the beloved French capital, from its extended steel-structured ceilings to the typical 20th-century iron-fixed windows.
The open-plan kitchen is distinguished by a sizable island with an induction stovetop and oven that seamlessly connects to the living room. The larger station against the wall and the kitchen sink block beneath a window overlooking the 10th arrondissement complete the layout, adding a professional air along with eye-catching metal textures.
In order to create a sense of duality, Festen and Abimis joined forces to contrast their individual aesthetics and create a unified, harmonious environment. This is evident in the open floor kitchen, which combines the communal functionality of catering with a more private layout as a result of the arrangement of the working stations.
Isn’t This Festen Design Beautiful?
Due to the layout of the steel blocks, the overall design serves as a communal catering space while still providing privacy. While maintaining a contemporary and clean appearance, it gives the room a very industrial and New York feel.
