Home Decor Color Trends Everyone Will be Talking About in 2017
Say good bye to minimal pallets, here are the color trends for 2017’s Home Decor
We’re already heading to 2017, which means there’s no better time to be talking about home decor trends to keep on eye next year. First of all let me tell you that, if you were expecting to go on with a minimalist, white-on-white color pallet for your home decor, we may need to say that you shouldn’t.
According to the paint company, Behr, next year will be all about sophisticated hues, a mixture of light and strong colors to draw attention and result in a bold home decor. The company has divided the color trends into three different pallets – Confident, Composed and Comfortable.
Each color pallet is somehow related to our personality traits. Creative, social beings will be drawn to the Confident color pallet which is defined by spicy reds, blues and lime greens. There are, in total, around 6 colors but we selected these 2, that we believe will have more success on the interior design industry.
Midnight Snow
At Luxxu, we particularly enjoy the combination of wooden colors and dark blues. This Hampton Home proves the value of this color trend, taking us near the ocean with its vibrant tones.
Lemon Burst
Golden, yellow tones don’t just look great in lighting chandeliers! This stunning lemon burst color will instantly liven up any space. A radiant and happy color trend that will conquer the hearts of designers next year.
The second color pallet selected by Behr is called Composed. This pallet is characterized by earthy colors and stunning taupes that will make any traditionalist or contemporary lover fall on the knees. From a total of 7 colors, Luxxu‘s team favorites are the delicate Polished Aqua and Laid Back Gray.

Polished Aqua
When paired with a bold, metallic lighting fixture, the color Polished Aqua results in a dazzling look for any home decor. This is by far one of our favorite color trends for next year, and we can’t wait to use it in our own nests.
Last but not least, the colors of the Comfortable pallet are light pinks, blues and yellows that make the smallest of spaces, pop. Its muted shades are ideal for introverts who want to make their first foray into accent colors.

Life is a Peach
At Luxxu, we definitely recommend to follow this color trend. This peachy pink color provides a certain delicateness to a room, and, at the same time, brightens up the space without looking too edgy. Amazing!
