Ready To Know More About The Amazing Lily Duclaud?
Lily Duclaud has established her own style over the years, which she describes as exquisite, subtle, and unique, blending the principles of simplicity with taste and luxurious textures, and continuously seeking new challenges. “I don’t work, I simply have fun, and doing fun activities has led me here,” she said when asked what part of her job she enjoyed the best. I’ve loved what I’ve done since I was a child, and I’ve been doing it for many years. This is my life, what I am good at, and I love developing all kinds of projects and meeting new individuals from all over the world. This was demonstrated by my mother. It was a present from her to me. On her side of my narrative, she is a designer.”
Every project is unique and authentic for Lily, and this is what distinguishes her work. New initiatives mean fresh starts. “I enjoy everything I do,” she says, “but I absolutely think kids rooms are my passion.” Working with children has always sparked my imagination and provided me with opportunities to develop in various ways. I believe that I will always remain a child. I hope so.”
Lily Duclaud described digital media as the most trying time in her career, despite being an energetic and playful person. She considered herself a traditional designer who drew her designs by hand. “I enjoy making eye contact with each person’s vibes. Through Zoom or chat, it’s been tough to understand and sense individuals. Feeling the light of a living room through a computer camera, or sitting for a couple of hours and knowing textures and colors without even grasping the notion.”
The pandemic impacted our lives in every aspect, but the difficult days turned out to be a great opportunity for Lily. “We made the decision to share our expertise, experience, and positive attitudes with the entire globe.” That was a fantastic challenge I’d never considered before. As a Mexican designer, we’ve been fortunate to work on projects throughout Asia, Europe, and locations we’d never considered before. So far, everything has gone well. Masterclasses have been fantastic for interacting with folks at home while also allowing them to establish their own businesses.”
The designer, who is incredibly ambitious and always has her gaze fixed on the future, stated that she is still far from attaining her goals. “Every year, I challenge myself in some way.” I’ve met every yearly objective, but, as Walt Disney used to say, I’m still looking forward. Every day is a new challenge, a chance to grow as a person in every manner.”
Her inner child empowers her to not only achieve more in life, but also to connect with children, which has become one of her greatest ambitions: “I wish to spend more time with children.” Our world is crazier than ever, and because kids are the future, we must begin to construct better creative places for them, with less war, more love, and fun, but in a family-oriented manner.” Lily expressed herself. She’s working on a story called “Once upon a time in a box.” It’s a fantastic concept that will allow moms to build their own rooms with the help of her studios. “I’m really looking forward to it!” I’d like to see my boxes all across the globe.” There’s a big project coming up, and her partner and Lily are having the time of their lives making it happen.
“Kids have to feel their space as comfortable and huggable, personalized and content, their own shelter. That’s home. We need to go back to back to basics. That’s my priority for kids!”

Lily’s passion for personal and deep relationships is one of the most rewarding aspects of her business, and she believes that keeping in touch with her audience and clients is crucial to her success. “Our audience sustains us.” I personally respond to all of their questions and maintain contact with them. Some of my clients have been with me for almost 20 years. I’ve seen children grow up, change nations, and have children again, and they’ve all contacted me. It’s incredible. Social media has offered us previously inconceivable ways to remain in touch. As a pediatrician, I enjoy being a part of their lives and am always available.”
When Lily was asked about the latest fashion trends, she became animated and her eyes twinkled. “From my perspective, it reminds me of Disney’s Ratatouille…. “Anyone can cook!” she replied wryly. “I see a lot going on, which is even more fascinating because every company has been creating their own drama!!!!” I love it! This year’s design is full of innovation, colors, textures, and a lot of fun.” Lily continued.
“I’m proud of being a designer in this Era since we have the chance to watch all kinds of tendencies all over the years in a deep melting pot. Pandemic, once again, is making me proud of watching my colleagues re-invent and grow more powerful than ever!!! Love them all!”

We Absolutely Love Lily Duclaud’s Creations!
Lily Duclaud’s client is the type of person who knows exactly what they want from a project and from her. As previously noted, Lily’s strong bonds with her customers enable her to not only respond to their needs but also anticipate and compliment their desires, which is something they look forward to while working with her. “They’re rockstars, and I’m the one building a fantastic stage for them because it’s their theater, and they’re the movie’s characters, not me.” They’re all superstars. “Bright ones,” she exclaimed.
Finally, we inquired about craftsmanship and who is spearheading the charge, prompting Lily to get a little more personal: “I honor a well-known Mexican artist in my hometown of Mexico City.” As an artisan dedicated to handcrafting exquisite wood furniture, Alfonso Marina has showed us how to do things well around the world. His mission has always been to provide the greatest possible quality to discriminating customers. I’m incredibly proud of him.”
She believes that in the future, we as a society must rethink the concept of communal spaces, citing recent events and social alienation as opportunities to assess our priorities. “For us, social isolation allowed us to re-evaluate what matters most: family and friendship. As interior designers, we must concentrate on reuniting families. Providing places for them to coexist.”
Lily Duclaud, in addition to being an excellent interior designer, is an example of how professional and personal integrity can coexist. Her passion for her employees, her customers, and all the lives she affects is palpable, and we are honored to have had the chance to interview and sit with such a remarkable professional.
