Step Inside This Art Déco Palace By Love Design Studio
This palace, which was built in 1904 in Caldas da Rainha, is a stunning example of Art Déco in Portugal. Count Almeida and then the Viscount of Moraes owned it until 2011 when it was completely renovated by the Portuguese interior design firm Love Design Studio. The interior design firm chose LUXXU lighting fixtures for one of the palace’s main suites to accentuate the Art Deco luxury feel that begets this interior design Project.
The timeless elegance and refined character of the suite, which is decorated with natural wood and a white, blue, and gold color palette, is enhanced by LUXXU‘s centerpiece, the Tycho Round Suspension Lamp, which combines artistry and magnificence into a highly decorative piece.

To provide the room with more intimate lighting, two Waterfall Wall Lamps by LUXXU were installed near the bed and the office area to serve as reading lights and provide a calming and relaxing aura to this interior design project, allowing for both a focused and relaxed environment depending on the guest’s preferences.

The combination of modern luxury furniture with classic details of the palace’s original architecture, such as the high ceilings adorned with boiserie, friezes, and finials, lends an authentic, harmonious atmosphere to this interior design project. The noble, natural materials and elegant details create highly sophisticated and luminous interiors that are befitting of this incredible piece of history.
