What you Need to Know About Decorex International 2018
We’ve rounded up all you need to know about the upcoming design event Decorex International 2018.
Happening in London, at Syon Park, and part of the London Design Festival, another edition of the event will happen between the 16th and the 19th of September.
After last year’s successful edition, celebrating its 40th anniversary, this year Decorex International presents Black Canvas as its theme. This concept will explore the creation of something beautiful from nothing, from n empty space, celebrating incredible designs.

Being the main event of London Design Festival and established as one of Europe’s most important interior design events, Decorex offers the finest furniture, lighting, textiles and home décor accessories from brands that are either well-established in the industry or are emerging. With more than 300 exhibitors from all over the world, you can expect to find the best of design

Each year, the Entranceway is designed by a group of designers. For the 2018 edition and as the theme is Black Canvas the chosen designers are all London-based. The group of 4 is composed of Maddux Creative, Brian Woulfe, Henry Prideaux and Studio Suss.
Another novelty in this year’s edition will be The Bar. Lambart & Browne is the team who will be responsible for designing this space, which is a sort of evolution from the champagne bar present in last year’s edition. Lambart & Browne will cerate an elegant, refined, colonial-style bar at Decorex.

There is also another segment this year, the Future Heritage, where up and coming artists and designers will be showcasing their pieces in a selection curated by Corinne Julius.
This year’s edition will also have a special attention to craftsmanship, with the Behind the Design Series, where you’ll have the chance to hear how concepts become exceptional designs.
