Salone Del Mobile 2022 Is Far From Finished Presenting Amazing Designs!
Boca do Lobo
Boca do Lobo is proud to present, at Salone del Mobile 2022, exquisite pieces that have been individually embellished using some of the oldest jewelry-making techniques known to man. All of the pieces are completely handcrafted and usually shape traditional Portuguese culture and art. Their designs range from minimal to eclectic to contemporary – always bold yet elegant, with gold details and the expression of an imperfect aesthetic, creating the appeal of authentic art that is truer to life.
Dsquared2 Introduces Exquisite Wallpapers
Dsquared2, founded by twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, is launching its first wallpaper collection in collaboration with luxury wallpaper manufacturer LONDONART. Dsquared2’s audacious design ethos is evident in several wallpaper designs, some of which feature runway-inspired patterns. A more subdued take on cement for the minimalists. These are just a few examples of the world this design duo has created with its distinctively creative label.
Carhartt Work In Progress X Toogood
Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) is dedicated to producing high-quality wardrobe staples. Its most recent collaboration for the Salone del Mobile 2022 is with British design studio Toogood, who reworked the brand’s classic shapes into sculptural, artsy silhouettes. Toogood worked within a refined color palette to create a six-piece capsule, staying true to Carhartt’s minimalist, practical design approach. The collection is accompanied by an exhibition of useful hacks that reveal the cutting process for each garment.
Divine Inspiration by Lee Broom
Lee Broom, a British lighting, furniture, and interior designer, has created his first lighting collection in four years for Salone del Mobile 2022, marking his 15th anniversary. “Divine Inspiration” is a collection of handmade and ready-made lighting fixtures and sculptures inspired by Broom’s childhood surroundings of Brutalist architecture. He combines this viewpoint with the concept of religious lighting, specifically how cathedrals are lit.
