TALK: SOS – School of Sustainability
On this last day, we were able to witness SOS School of Sustainability Foundation, in collaboration with Mario Cucinella Architects, which invited people to a presentation of projects completed for the academic year 2021-23, as well as to discuss innovation and future visions.
Salone Del Mobile 2022 Was A Memorable Event!
Hermès
Hermès’ interior design collection has become as coveted as its signature leather goods, but for its latest collection, the French fashion house is focusing on textiles, specifically cashmere. Hermès will install imposing water column-like wooden structures covered in shimmering wallpaper in Milan’s Brera district to celebrate lightness, which is echoed in the six-piece new offering.
Brunello Cucinelli
Brunello Cucinelli’s boutique on Via Montenapoleone will host a special event to celebrate the launch of the limited-edition ceramic cup created in collaboration with designer and architect Daniel Germani. The cup was inspired by cashmere bales because Germani wanted to pay homage to the Cucinelli brand’s history and vision by combining the style of cashmere with simple yet refined lines.
Paul Smith for De Padova X Mini
The backdrop for the display of the British designer’s collection with luxury furniture brand De Padova is an immersive space filled with the knickknacks Paul Smith’s London studio is famous for, as well as runway looks and piles of textiles. Smith’s signature color accents (lime green is a standout) with contrasting stitching and decorative-slash-functional details, such as leather straps and pockets, have been used to create upholstered armchairs, sofas, and poufs. Coffee tables made of wood and stone, benches, blankets, and leather trays round out the selection.
