This historic West Village home located on Cornelia Street, New York, was Taylor’s house during the period when the singer was renovating her famous Tribeca Penthouse. The three-story, 21-foot-wide building from 1870 has a total floor area of around 5,500 square feet and includes four bedrooms and seven bathrooms.
Nowadays, the house is available for rent for $45,000 a month! It is a special place not only for the singer but also for the fans. It is referenced in the song Cornelia Street from her 2019 album Lover and portrays an important mark in the singer’s relationship with actor Joe Alwyn.
The first floor offers access to the guest suite, where the garage is also located. Below, you can find the indoor pool with a lounge area, decorated with basalt stone tile floors and high ceilings, and the terrace.

The kitchen has a Wolf range, subzero refrigerator and wine fridge, a Fisher & Paykal double drawer dishwasher, and granite countertops illuminated by delicate pendant lights.
In the connected dining room, you’ll find floor-to-ceiling casement windows that open up to tranquil West Village backyard views.
The second guest suite was transformed into an office, and it is located on the other side of the living room. The space is decorated with many furniture pieces of mid-century style, which completely fits the New York City aesthetic.
Two-bedroom suites with private terraces are located on the third floor. The grand primary bedroom is located down the hall and has high ceilings, a walk-in closet, and a striking marble bathroom with a glass-enclosed shower.

The other bedroom has a terrace with views of Cornelia Street, an en suite bathroom, a walk-in closet, and custom floor-to-ceiling casement windows. Since mostly all the windows face the backyard, it allowed Taylor the right amount of privacy.
Upstairs you can find the rooftop terrace with a lounge area that allows you to enjoy the view of downtown New York. The Italian furniture company Zanotta is currently renting the house to use as an immersive showroom for networking and showcasing their design pieces. According to public records, the property last changed ownership for $11.5 million in 2019. The rental listing is held by Laurence Carty, Irene Lo, and Jennifer Rahilly of Corcoran.
