Drawing inspiration from the Kara tribe, residing along the banks of the Omo River in southern Ethiopia, the Kara Rug by Rug Society is a tribute to their vibrant culture. Reflecting the tribe's body painting for ceremonies, the rug embodies chalk with yellow rock, red iron ore, and charcoal. The distinctive layers of round necklaces, translated into a round spreading pattern, are meticulously crafted from hand-tufted tencel.
